22 West, The Residences, was completed this year (2012). The units range from one bedroom to three bedrooms and have state-of-the-art appliances, including convection ovens and front-loading washers and dryers. The building boasts a number of awards, including LEED certification for some of its components. The roof-top is one of 22 West's greatest features as it has a pool and sun-deck but also green roof space for planting while some units have large, private balconies. A restaurant and other retail space is located on the first floor, offering super easy amenities to the residents of 22 West but the location in West End residents also have relatively easy access to Dupont Circle and Georgetown as well as Foggy Bottom/West End. Two nearby metro stations open the rest of the city to residents and each unit has covered parking spaces. These new condos will definitely cost a pretty penny but from we can tell at the moment, they are worth it.
