Bounded by two parks - Glover Archbold to the West and Whitehaven to the South. The Northern boarder is Fulton Street and the Eastern boarder is 34th Street.

Neighborhood Feel:

Glover Park was primarily developed in the late 1920s. The community is situated on a sloping hill about a half-mile above Georgetown. While, Georgetown is easily accessible to residents Glover Park offers its own amenities including its own nightlife. Surfside Restaurant and Breadsoda Bar have both received great reviews from the Washington Post. All of Glover Parks “action” is located on Wisconsin Avenue, clustering a number of restaurants, stores, and services among scattered high-rises. Glover Park has a Whole Foods right in the middle of its commercial district but it retains its local establishments such as Max’s Best Ice Cream and Rockland’s BBQ (a DC favorite and must try). Though Wisconsin Avenue has a number of buildings that exceed six stories much of Glover Park is residential row houses. Buffered by so many parks Glover Park maintains as natural of an atmosphere as you can find in a city. Victory Gardens are a past time of residents whom, as a community, have rented the land from the Park Service in order to grow vegetables, herbs, and flowers on their own small plot of land. Guy Mason Park adds to the family-friendly atmosphere found in Glover Park. Under the lights little-league baseball is a more than common occurrence.
